In my daily studio work, I engage with live models and my own photographs, continuously constructing and reworking compositions with layers of material in the pursuit of form, mass, and space.

Beneath this surface, I explore questions regarding the fluidity of the human form. Drawing inspiration from 21st-century male painters, my objective is to reconsider how male artists historically normalized their gaze when depicting the female nude. Collaborating with my models, we delve into the theatricality of the image, allowing for their own physicality and actively participating in my process of layering and erasing—a foundational aspect of my paintings and drawings .
